What Are The Main Types of Anxiety Disorders?
- Generalised anxiety disorder - an overall feeling of anxiety
- Simple Phobia - an intense fear about a particular object or situation
- Social phobia - an intense fear of social situations
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - constant unwanted thoughts often resulting in the performance of elaborate rituals (approximately 2% of the population are affected by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - continue to feel terror experienced long after a major trauma
- Panic disorder - extreme panic feelings.-feelings of extreme panic.
